Traditionally used for serving homemade tortillas, this plate is perfect for tacos, rice, or any dish you're serving up. The clay works to retain heat as long as possible. Made from natural clay, the plate retains the rustic charm and earthy tones typical of traditional Mexican pottery. To ensure the longevity of your Mexican Barro Plate, hand wash with mild soap and water.

Avoid using in the microwave or dishwasher to preserve the clay's natural beauty. You may notice small dots or marks on either side of some ceramic pieces. These are called stilt marks, and they occur during the kiln firing process when small supports hold the piece so the glaze doesn’t stick to the kiln shelf. These marks are completely normal in artisan ceramics and do not affect the durability or food safety of the item — they’re simply a natural result of traditional ceramic production.
